Welcome to Micshariki Africa. What first got you into music?

Well what really got me into music is that passion that I have for music before I knew I could rap or sing. I was fond of dancing and did it professionally too. I’m an all-round person when it comes to art.

Who inspired you to make music?

I was inspired by the G Unit era. 50 cent built that solid love for hip hop. Later I would do my background research on the genre and the culture too.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

Well my type of music is the new school vibe with old school fusion. I have developed techniques that are both soulful and hyped.

What is your creative process like?

For me my creative process is pretty much an adventure hunt. It starts with beats I love, melody and that easy catchy feel to get going thus leading to catchy hooks and just simple and memorable lyrics with a touch of complimentary flow.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

My favorite artists that I would love to work with one day:

Locally, Octopizzo
Regional,  Ali Kiba

If it wasn’t music I’d definitely be a star football player or pro dancer but mostly a soccer star.

Where have you performed? What are your favorite and least favorite venues? Do you have any upcoming shows?

Well I have performed on Unkut Africa during its infancy stages. Favorite venue I’d say an open space either Koroga Fest or something similar and no I haven’t performed at any show the moment.

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Best advice would be work on yourself and don’t let anybody switch you up.

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

The industry first and foremost is changing the narrative that an artist needs to only compliment a certain language to express his craft. We have different backgrounds and inspiration and we must accept how one is putting out their craft. Another thing is can guys just focus on their preference and at the same time work together to creating a solid showbiz.

Which hood do you represent? And what plans do you have that will impact your community through music?

My hood is Ruai and my plans is to place its existence on the map and bring forth the generations who will keep the culture going and appreciate art, talent and all creative in general.

How do you see your sound evolving in the next couple of years?

My sound… I wouldn’t give it a limiting idea of its growth but have it free just like it has been. I like it being a package of surprises.

My Shout out first goes to Zilli1one Studios under Brain K Wise the producer behind creation of my brand and music.
